I agree that this man should be punished for his crimes. But that is his own private hell.

We, as individuals, must take care of our own private hell. And, in my opinion, the best way to do that is to forgive others of their wrongs to us, either real or perceived.

I am not in their shoes, but I have a hard time believing that ones grief will be lifted by having someone else punished.

By forgiving a wrong, I am able to move on and enjoy my life. If I do not, I am stuck in time and cannot be a productive human being.

Life is as good as I allow it to be.
